Amanda Polatty - Owner, Certified Planner & Designer
Amanda has lived in Jacksonville, FL since 2001. She is a proud Navy Brat. She started Simply Weddings in 2014 helping couples plan their wedding day and became a Certified Wedding and Event planner from Lovegevity through UNF. She got into florals by pure accident. One of her clients who had planned on doing florals themselves decided a week and a half before the wedding they just couldn't do it. During the busy season there was no one available on such short notice, so she took matters into her own hands. After completing the florals and having a very successful wedding and super satisfied clients, she realized that she fell in love with florals. From there she integrated florals into the design portion of her wedding planning process and BAM, its been magic ever since! She has worked along side Luxury Florist such a Sarah Campbell of Intrigue Designs. She has also completed numerous floral workshops in multiple states. She is apart of multiple floral groups to keep up on the trends and ever changing industry she's in. Her company has been nominated by her peers for Intrigue Floral Awards 2019. Amanda believes in continuing education in order to provide fresh and new designs. Interesting Fact: She was on the cover of ESPN2 for Drum Corp International when she marched colorguard for the Phantom Regiment in 2006. |

Shenika Stampley - Certified Planner, Lead Coordinator & Designer
Shenika was born in Compton, California and raised in Nebraska. She attended Jackson State University where she earned her B.B.A. in Business Marketing and is also an active sorority member of Alpha Kappa Alpha. Her love for planning started early. She would plan and organize her middle school functions and from there she was on almost every planning committee throughout her high school days. In college she organized large social functions and chaired many planning committees for her sorority. After she moved to Jacksonville in 2015 she earned her certification in Wedding and Event Planning. She has since done freelance planning work on her own and finally joined Simply Weddings in 2016. She started with a year of shadowing and since 2018 has been the Lead Coordinator. Shenika is a hardworking and beautifully talented human with a passion to create beautiful events and maintain timelines. Shenika has also taken on the sales consultant position for Simply Florals this year. She enjoys learning about and building floral arrangements and meeting all the new clients. Interesting Fact: She is an Identical Twin and also has an extra vertebrae in her spin. |
